Kosciusko County police are unsure whether a break-in reported at 7:51 a.m. today in Indian Village is related to the recent string of late-night residential burglaries.
A resident on Tepee Drive in Indian Village reported she was taking a shower this morning when she heard her dog barking. She followed the dog to a closed bedroom door. When she opened the door she saw a shadow of a man leaving through the window.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit tracked the suspect, but lost the scent.
Police said they are not yet sure whether the break-in is related to the other break-ins or if it is an isolated incident.
The case remains under investigation.
