Mrs. Arnold, you are the one who is brainwashed. You should do some research before your put your ignorant opinions out there for all to read.
Unions are not run by "thugs" as you portray, we are working people who stand together for what we believe in, "a fair day's work for a fair day's pay". You must be someone who has never worked a day in your poor life if you think insurance, vacation, and holidays are an entitlement.
I'm sure a lot of working people, union or not, would disagree with you. If that's what you truly believe, you should move to China. The Right to Work Bill will do nothing except line the pockets of big business.
The "leading employer in our county" has cut jobs only to replace them with temps working for far less and no benefits. How does this help with unemployment?
One person is out of a job while another gets a job. If they would have unionized, the company would not be doing this.
A lot of good people have lost their jobs for no good reason, I'm not so sure you saying they did it to get rid of substandard employees was a smart thing to say, this is a sensitive issue with unemployment the way it is, you are infringing on hardworking people's livelihood.
