East Noble Nips Wawasee
SYRACUSE – Cam Schlabach, Jairus Boyer and Trevon Coleman had eight points each in Wawasee’s 41-40 home loss to East Noble in a non-conference boys basketball game Saturday.
The Warriors trailed 23-9 at halftime, and outscored East Noble 18-6 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to one. Wawasee had two chances to take the lead late, but couldn’t convert.
Wawasee (5-15) has lost seven games in a row and 14 of its last 15. The Warriors will take to the Hardwood Tepee for their last home game of the regular season, hosting 2A No. 16 Eastside (17-3) Tuesday night.

CHURUBUSCO – Nate Walpole had 28 points and Spencer Sroufe added 22 in Whitko’s 69-62 loss at Whitley County rival Churubusco Saturday night.
Whitko (13-8) wraps up its regular season with a visit to Monroeville to take on Heritage (10-8) Tuesday.
