James Boyles, Edwardsburg, Mich., announces the engagement of his daughter, Katie Boyles, Lafayette, to Troy Harper, Lafayette.
He is the son of Cheryl Harper, Syracuse, and the late Thomas Harper. Boyles also is the daughter of the late Lisa Boyles.
The bride-to-be graduated from Edwardsburg High School in 2007 and will attend St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in the fall.
The groom-elect is a preawards specialist at Purdue University, West Lafayette. He graduated from Wawasee High School, Syracuse, in 2006 and earned a bachelor’s degree in selling and sales management from Purdue University in 2010.
The couple plan a June 9, 2012, wedding at the Old Bag Factory, Goshen.
