Marie Elizabeth Boyer and Ashley Jake Pennington were married June 4, 2009, in Chapel At The Park, Gatlinburg, Tenn., with Timothy J. McIntyre officiating. The bride is the daughter of Robin and Joann Boyer, Syracuse; and the groom's parents are Charles and Judy Pennington.
The reception was June 21 at Mad Anthony's Restaurant, Warsaw.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Wawasee High School and a senior at DeVry University.
The groom is a missile technician, Petty Officer First Class in the U.S. Navy on the USS West Virginia, Kings Bay Naval Sub Base, Ga. He is a 1991 graduate of Lighthouse Christian Academy, Warsaw, and earned an associate's degree in marine electronics from Columbia College.
