The $25,750 contract for the study is between A & Z Engineering LLC and Warsaw.

Warsaw City Planner Jeremy Skinner said the goal is to connect Winona Lake's Heritage Trail and Warsaw's Chinworth Bridge Trail.Plans are to connect the trail starting at the Winona Lake/Warsaw corporate limits and along McKinley Street, north to Market Street, and continuing west to the end of the corporate limits at Zimmer.

Proposed roadway improvements may include pavement widening and resurfacing to existing roads to obtain two 12-foot traveling lanes and two bicycle lanes.

The proposed improvements to Market Street consist of new asphalt pavement overlay with alignment of the existing roadway being maintained with a new corridor appearance.
