Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety Friday approved a lease agreement for the Warsaw Police Department for a motorcycle for patrolling.
The board approved WPD entering into a two-year agreement with Harley-Davidson Leasing Inc. for one 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle for $5,187.60.
The board also approved a contract between WPD and Cardinal Tracking Inc. for its TickeTrak software license and customer support.
The $2,572.20 agreement includes the software license and customer support for both the hand-held unit and parking control's computer terminal.
The board also approved stagehand contracts for Warsaw Parks Department for its summer events in Central Park.
Stagehand services were approved for the Classic Rock Concert June 17; Blues and Barbeque Concert July 8; Country Concert July 22; and Celebracion Latina Sept. 17.
The board also approved a contract between the parks department and Ballett Folklorico Sol Azteca to perform during Celebracion Latina.The board approved soil testing to be conducted on CR 200S property for a proposed fire station that was previously discussed.
The board approved a salary for park board member Dan Robinson to receive $30 per meeting; George Clemens to serve on Warsaw Plan Commission and receive $30 per meeting; and Tim Dombrosky, assistant city planner, receiving $18.22 bi-weekly.
