INDIANAPOLIS - The Build Indiana Fund could be tapped for $300,000 for improvements to the town of Bourbon wastewater system, according to State Sen. Kent Adams.
Adams said he expects the Build Indiana Fund grant to be approved Friday at the monthly meeting of the State Budget Committee.
"I am pleased that the funding for the Bourbon wastewater system is on the agenda for Friday's State Budget Committee meeting, and I trust the committee will approve the funding without delay," said Adams.
Funding for the Bourbon project comes from $40 million in Build Indiana Funds set aside in 1999 by the legislature for local wastewater and drinking water improvement projects.
