STARKE COUNTY - A Bourbon girl is dead following an accident in Starke County Monday afternoon.
Emily Bravo, 9, of 420 E. Center St., Bourbon, was in a 1992 Olds van driven by her father, Vincente Bravo, 42, when the van collided with a 2006 Dodge pickup driven by Jason Ramine, 23, LaCrosse, on U.S. 30 in front of Knoll Bros. Truck Stop in Starke County.
A Starke County police report didn't give a description of how the accident occurred other than both vehicles were westbound on U.S. 30.
Emily Bravo was ejected from the van and fatally injured. An unidentified third driver is being questioned about the accident by Starke County and Indiana State Police.
Other passengers in the Bravo vehicle, Vincente Bravo; Amanda Felipa Bravo, 34; Emanuel Bravo, 14; Julissa, 10; and Guillermo Flores, age unknown, all suffered minor injures.
