Warsaw Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126 members received a letter from Boston Mayor Martin Walsh recently. The VFW sent a book signed with hundreds of local signatures from first responders, police, fire and fraternal organizations last year after the Boston bombing. The letter addressed to Rex Rife, VFW commander, states “I am grateful to you, the residents of Indiana and all of the people world-wide who reach out offering kind gestures to be shared by the victims, families and friends of the Boston Marathon.”
