Comments on any alcohol beverage permit petition before the Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission are always welcome, ABC president Darwin Call said Thursday at the ABC's monthly meeting.
The petitions are advertised twice in the local papers before the meeting, excise officer Patty Fleck said, and the last one is usually advertised approximately a week before the meeting.
"We welcome any comments," Call said.
With only automatic renewals and one transfer of ownership before the board Thursday, comments were limited. No renewals had any violations.
The transfer of ownership was for a beer and wine dealer's permit for Hank's C-Stores, North Turkey Creek Road, Syracuse, formerly Pride's C-Stores. The principle nature of the business is a convenience grocery store, owner Loren D. Fry told the board. The transfer was unanimously approved.
The business' dealer permit renewal for beer and wine also was approved.
