Bonnie S. JohnsonBonnie S. Johnson, of Warsaw, passed away quietly at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, at the age of 71.

Born in Prestonsburg, Ky., on July 1, 1951, she was the daughter of Willis and Sylvia Newsome Hamilton. Bonnie stayed at home most of her life, raising her children. On Nov. 11, 1994, she married Roy Johnson. Together, they spent 27 years before his passing earlier this year in January.

Bonnie had a lively spirit that brought happiness into the room. She was very enthusiastic, especially when it came to the holidays. She loved to dress up according to the holiday it was and share her happiness with others. Bonnie also loved baking, cooking and gardening. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Their memories of tea parties with their grandma will be cherished for a lifetime.

Those who survive with broken hearts include her children: Adam (Amber) Prater, Eric (Tina) Prater and Jonathan (Clair) Prater; an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Randy Hamilton, Tina Flores, Sue Kenoshmeg, Wonda Rogers and Estalena Hamilton. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Roy; children, Joseph Prater and Melissa Cupp; grandson, Brandon Hurley; and siblings: Willis Hamilton Jr., Patricia Infante, Donnie Hamilton and Geraldine Hamilton.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with the care of Bonnie. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
