Bonnie Lyons Misener, 42, of 116 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, passed away Feb. 23, 2012, in her residence. She was born June 7, 1969, in Warsaw, to Benjamin “Ben” Robert and Linda L. Lyons Shafer. On March 9, 1990, she married Mark Allen Poe, who died July 2, 2004. In April 2011, she married Shawn Michael Misener, who survives. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1988 and was enrolled as a student at Indiana Tech of Warsaw. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband; two daughters, Sierra (and spouse Joshua) Lantz and Shelby Poe, all of Warsaw; five grandchildren, Logan, Cooper, Donovan, Aubrey and Aleck Lantz; her father and stepmother, Ben and Karla Shafer, Mancelona, Mich.; a brother, Greg (and spouse Crystal) Shafer, Sidney; two sisters, Wonnie and Stefanie Shafer, both of Warsaw; and her grandmother, Helen Shafer, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda L. Shafer, who died March 20, 2009; a daughter, Lyndsay Allison Poe Sanchez, who died Sept. 29, 2011; and three grandparents. Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, officiated by Bishop Jeff Walters. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
