ROCHESTER - Bonnie Lou Noftsger, 56, of 210 E. South St., Argos, died at 1:30 a.m. May 31, 2008, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born April 17, 1952, in Wabash, to Francis and Lois Yeoman Day, who survive in Culver.
On March 31, 1973, in Bunker Hill, she married Jack Noftsger, who died Oct. 31, 1995.
Moving to Argos from Culver about 30 years ago, she was a 1970 Culver High School graduate. She worked at Lear Corp., Plymouth, for 34 years, and served as treasurer for the union. She was a member of Argos United Methodist Church and attended Plymouth Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed reading novels, cooking for her family and pot luck dinners for her church. She was a fan of NASCAR, especially Mark Martin #8.
Surviving are a son, Jacob Allen Noftsger, Argos; a grandson, Noah Alexander Noftsger, Rochester; a sister, Linda (and spouse Sandy) O'Dell, Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Dean Day (and Patricia Wright), Stillwater, Minn., and Dale (and spouse Shellie) Day, Plymouth; seven stepchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor Ruth Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
