Bone Marrow Drive At Ivy Tech

Posted
The Be The Match Registry of the National Bone Marrow Donor Program will hold a registry and donation drive at Ivy Tech Community College in Warsaw Monday.
The drive is from 3 to 7 p.m. Ivy Tech is at 2545 Silveus Crossing, just off U.S. 30 northwest of Warsaw.
The Be The Match Registry matches bone marrow donors with patients. Locally, Erin Gamble has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and is awaiting a bone marrow transplant.
Gamble is the wife of Troy Gamble and daughter-in-law of Vic and Jo Gamble of Mentone. She is one of thousands of patients on the registry.
Be The Match is also accepting donations, and says for every $100 given, another member can be added.
To give $10 by phone, text MATCH  007 to 50555.
To join at the drive, you must be between 18 and 44 years old, meet the health guidelines and be willing to donate to any patient in need.
