Bobby Ray Bryant, 72, of Leesburg, died at 11:31 a.m. Oct. 8, 2008, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born May 17, 1936, in Burdine, Ky., to Russell and Sally Conley Bryant. On Jan. 23, 1964, in Clintwood, Va., he married Helen Baldwin, who survives.
Living in Kosciusko County more than 30 years, he retired from Warsaw Coil and was a lifetime member of American Legion, Syracuse, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Pound, Va.
Also surviving are a daughter, Melinda Rogers, Warsaw; a son, Robert Bryant, Leesburg; a stepson, Fred Mullins, LaGrande, Ore.; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Fleming, Maryland, and Glenda McCeney, Dean, Md. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two children.
Services will be at noon Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Chad Burkhart officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
