Staff Report-
Legendary coach Bob Knight will appear on the Wagon Wheel Theatre stage April 14. Knight has become one of the most popular sports figures nationally with his all-time wins record, surpassed in November by longtime friend and colleague, and Duke coach, Mike Krzyzewski. Currently, Knight is a broadcast analyst for ESPN and is known as one of the greatest basketball coaches of all-time and the biggest name in Indiana sports history. As the head coach of the Hoosiers, Knight won more than 73 percent of his games in 29 years at Indiana, while capturing three national titles, 11 Big Ten championships and a gold medal as the coach of the 1984 basketball Olympic team. At times, Knight has been polarizing, which keeps him in high demand as a public speaker. Knight will speak about his illustrious career on and off the court. Knight is scheduled for two shows April 14, at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Tickets range from $55 to $69 and are on sale now.
