Hoosier Basketball Magazine has released its list of Top 100 seniors, with Warsaw’s Jared Bloom and Triton’s Clay Yeo making the cut. The list of 100 players is compiled by Hoosier Basketball Magazine publisher Garry Donna, based on his observations, as well as discussions with coaches, media and college recruiters. During Saturday’s state finals, more critiquing will take place as the list is cut to 60. The 60 chosen seniors will then be invited to Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s 26th annual Top 60 Senior Boys Workout on Sunday, April 7 at Marian University in Indianapolis. During the Workout, players will have a chance to showcase their talent for colleges, while also trying to impress coaches who will help select members of the Indiana all-star team. This season, Bloom averaged 17.9 points per game on 49.7-percent shooting for the 13-11 Warsaw Tigers, who won Class 4A Sectional 4, before falling to South Bend Adams in the Michigan City Regional semifinals. Yeo, who’s already signed on to play for Valparaiso next season, has led 20-5 Triton to Saturday’s Class 1A state championship game against Borden at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. On the year, the 2012-13 Times-Union Area Player of the Year has averaged 26.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.9 blocks per game.
