Madison and Leesburg elementary schools hosted blood drives recently. Madison Principal Jacob Hoag and Leesburg Principal Randy Dahms had a competition going to see which school would get the most blood donated. The principal of the school with the least amount of blood donated had to travel to the rival school and parade the hallways wearing the winning school's spirit wear. The Cardinals won the competition and, as a result, Dahms walked the Madison hallways as a Cardinal. Both schools had a great turn out for their blood drives, and as a result the community will benefit.
