On Oct. 3, Sacred Heart School had a blessing of pets in honor of the Feast of St. Francis Day, Oct. 4.
The prayer service and blessing took place with an explanation of the wonderful rapport that St. Francis had with the animals nearly 800 years ago.
Pictured are Father Paul Bueter, Regan Mangun and her daughters, Evyn, Celia and Tess and their dog Oscar.
