In a recent letter to the editor, a person claimed to be a Democrat supporting Chad Miner for judge. However, upon further investigation, it was determined that this person has voted in nothing but GOP primaries over the past decade. I would like to thank the Times-Union for removing this letter from their website due to this person’s misrepresentation of their political views. The fact of the matter is that only one candidate in this race, Antony Garza, has attracted significant crossover appeal.
To date, Mr. Garza has earned the endorsements of many current, and former, elected Republicans in Kosciusko County. These prominent GOP endorsements include (but are not limited to) current Tippecanoe Township Board Member Jim Rhodes, former Warsaw City Councilwoman Letricia Nichols and Jane Ciriello, a former prosecutor’s office employee. Furthermore, Mr. Garza has earned the endorsements of other prominent Republican business leaders in Kosciusko County. Kosciusko County deserves a judge that is qualified, fair and independent. His bipartisan endorsements make it clear that Mr. Garza is the only candidate in this race that meets all 3 criteria.
When you vote this fall, vote for more than a name. Vote for the candidate that has extensive experience as a prosecutor, and defense attorney, in Superior Court 3. Vote Garza!
