Mark Bingamon with Wihebrink Landscape Management Inc. recently completed the two-day ICPI Level 1 Concrete Paver Installer Certifiction Program. WLM Inc now is one of more than 13,000 certified installers.
The program imparts the requisite knowledge, experience and industry guidelines required to build pavements using concrete pavers. The two-day course is designed to enhance the knowledge of individuals involved in the construction and installation of interlocking concrete pavements.
Warsaw Plant Honored For Safety
The Indiana Mineral Aggragates Association recognized Elkhart County Gravel for reaching five years of working safely at their Warsaw plant. The company was honored for their safety record of no recorded injuries to plant personnel from 2002 to 2007. The Safety Awards Luncheon was held Jan 31 during the 2008 IMAA Winter Workshops at the Indianapolis Marriott North hotel.
