NORTH MANCHESTER – Billy Wayne “Uncle Bill” Howard, 72, Liberty Mills, died Friday, April 16, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
He was born Nov. 21, 1948, in Wabash, to Hatcher and Esther Myrtle “Shorty” McKinley Howard. He was married Jan. 24, 1970, to Verdie Bragg, who survives.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 22 at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, with calling beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, where Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. A carry-in dinner will be held at The Firehouse, North Manchester, following the service. Food can be dropped off at The Firehouse after 9:30 a.m. Friday.
