Billy Oscar Reiff, 77, of Leesburg, died at 1:25 a.m. March 29, 2010, in his residence.

He was born May 26, 1932, in Warsaw, to Ralph and Lillie Wissler Reiff.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, he was self-employed and ran a carpentry business. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army as a corporal during the Korean War from 1952-55. He was a member of the North Webster American Legion Post 253 and the Pierceton American Legion Post 258.

He will be remembered by his loving family including a daughter, Lisa Lee, Fort Wayne; two sons, Michael Reiff, Warsaw, and Steven Reiff, Indianapolis; a grandson, Brandon Reiff, Pierceton; a granddaughter, Emily Reiff, Pierceton; two sisters, Josephine Wells and Mary Shroyer, both of Warsaw; a brother, Sam Reiff, Warsaw; his companion, Doris Calhoun, Leesburg. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Reiff.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mock Cemetery, North Webster, with graveside military honors by members of North Webster American Legion Post 253. Chaplain Phil Smith of the American Legion Post 253 will officiate the service.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
