SYRACUSE – Bill Fisher, 70, of Syracuse, died Aug. 18, 2011, in his residence.

He was born May 9, 1941, in Warsaw, to John and Marie Petro Fisher. In 1962, he married Marsha Crow, who died in 2001. On May 17, 2008, he married Anna Wong, who survives.

He was a machinist for R.R. Donnelley & Sons for several years, owned and operated Fisher Lawn & Garden and was the head of maintenance at Oakwood Inn. He also served on the Syracuse Police Dept. for several years. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran.

Also surviving are a son, Bill Fisher, North Carolina; five daughters: Margie Morris, Michigan; Charlene Alexander, Milford; Stephanie Wong, Nappanee; Brenda Wong, Colorado; and Amanda Wong, Turkey; four grandchildren; and his mother, Marie Fisher, Warsaw. He also was preceded in death by twin daughters, a sister and his father.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 25 at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse, with military honors. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
