Biff Devon Lantzer, 51, of 31 EMS B30 Lane, Warsaw, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Aug. 16, 2011, in his residence.
He was born March 13, 1960, in Goshen, to Devon and Barbara Hapner Lantzer. On Oct. 8, 2003, he married Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Harding, who survives.
A resident of Kosciusko County for the past 13 years, he was a 1978 graduate of Fairfield High School and he worked in construction in the Goshen area prior to starting his own construction business. For the past four years he owned and operated Lighthouse Lawn Care. He was an avid fisherman, gardener and loved the outdoors.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Lantzer, Warsaw; a son, Briley (and spouse Jill) Lantzer, Middlebury; a daughter, Kelsey (and spouse Matt) Jackson, Mishawaka; his mother, Barbara (and spouse Dick) Longcor, Millersburg; two brothers, Brad (and spouse Marlene) Lantzer, Goshen, and Kyle (and spouse Hannah) Lantzer, West Lafayette;  a sister, Wanda (and spouse Doug) Woodring, Millersburg; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; a special mother-in-law, Betty Harding, Attica; special brothers-in-law, Paul (and spouse Becky) Harding, Attica, and George (and spouse  Gail) Harding, Zionsville; special niece and nephew,  Gabby and Sam Harding; and a special sister-in-law, Tina (and spouse Marty) Mickle, Columbus, Ind. He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at North Webster American Legion Post 253, Ind. 13S.
Calling is from 1 to 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Legion.
Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
