William ‘Bill’ Bibler transferred a piece of property to the town of Winona Lake May 30, 1995. This property in Southtown Shores addition was turned into a family park and playground, also known as Bibler Park. The park was originally dedicated to Roy and Faun Bibler and Kathy Bibler. The Winona Lake Parks Department has recently renovated the entire park. Many years of weather and wear had taken its toll on the existing playground. With the new improvements and the recent passing of Bill Bibler, it was decided to rededicate Bibler Park to Mr. Bibler and the Bibler family. The rededication ceremony was Nov. 23.
