Beverly Jo VanDyke, 79, went to be with her lord and savior at 1:20 a.m. June 21, 2016, at Mason Healthcare Center, Warsaw. She was born Oct. 10, 1936, to Luther Thomas and Helen Marie Dunnuck Coleman. On May 15, 1965, she married Clemens Junior VanDyke, who died Aug. 2, 1981. She graduated from Mentone High School with the class of 1954. She served in the U.S. Army as a secretary, and was discharged in May 1955. She was a lifetime Warsaw and Kosciusko County resident. She was a waitress at the Holiday Inn and was a member of Salvation Army and Salvation Army Ladies Auxiliary. She liked crocheting, reading and enjoyed many kinds of flowers. She like to watch wrestling and soap operas on TV. Surviving are a son, Jeffery VanDyke, Warsaw; and three stepdaughters, Reta, Shirley and Roberta. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Edward Coleman. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Denny Bollenbacher, New Beginnings Church, Atwood, pastor and Mason Healthcare Center, Warsaw, chaplain officiating. Military graveside honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126, both of Warsaw, in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
