Beverly A. Johnson, 83, of Warsaw, went home peacefully at 5:28 a.m. March 25, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, with her family by her side.
She was born July 10, 1927, in Fort Wayne, to Bob and Dorothy Hoover Sweet. On Jan. 26, 1946, in Fort Wayne, she married Arthur G. Johnson, who preceded her in death March 16, 2003.
She was a 62-year resident of Warsaw. She was a homemaker and member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. She loved to bowl and golf. She enjoyed her family and grandkids immensely, flowers, and being outdoors. She was an avid walker. She spent her winters in Naples, Fla.
Surviving are three sons, Glynn (and spouse Shelley) Johnson; Tim (and spouse Linda) Johnson and Jeff (and spouse Sandy) Johnson, all of Warsaw; a daughter, Kris Kindle, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Arthur Johnson, and son, Gregory Johnson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Rev. Bruce Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
