Betty R. Stump, 87, died at 5:25 p.m. Aug. 2, 2011, in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.
She was born Aug. 16, 1923, in Warsaw, to Ray and Estella Kline Kinsey. On Sept. 14, 1946, in Warsaw, she married Glenn Stump, who died Sept. 2, 2009.
She was a clerk for United Telephone Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1986.
Surviving are a daughter, Peggy Zorn, Winona Lake; three grandchildren: Glen Scott (and spouse Penny) Zorn, Warsaw; Tina (and spouse John) Anderson, Pierceton; and David (and spouse Cyndi) Bechtold, Knob Lick, Mo.; and six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katie, Ryan, Jack, Cheyenne and Gavin. She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Glenn David Stump; a daughter, Nancy Jo Bechtold, who died April 4, 2004; two sisters, Everyl Helser, who died Aug. 24, 2009, and Grace Perry; and a brother, Gerald Kinsey.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher of New Beginnings Community Church, Atwood. Burial will be in Mock Cemetery, North Webster.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
