Betty Lou Long, 82, of 1307 E. Market St., Warsaw, died at 7:29 p.m. July 21, 2011, in the emergency room at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1929, in Whitley County, to Ralph Dedrofth and Icy May Loe Beasley. On July 1, 1950, she married Charles Long Jr. “Longie”, who died April 18, 2006. She was a homemaker and a resident of Kosciusko County since 1950. Surviving are a daughter, Karla (and spouse David) Riddell, Albuquerque, N.M.; three sons: Robert (and spouse Wendy) Long, Roger (and spouse Pamela) Long, and Ron Long, all of Warsaw; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Madge (and spouse Carl) Salesman, Columbia City. She was preceded in death by eight brothers. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating.
