SYRACUSE - Betty Lou Hart, 81, of Ligonier, died at 10:05 a.m. May 19, 2008, in Greencroft Healthcare Center, Goshen.
She was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Pierceton, to Isaac and Wava Howell Witmer. On Nov. 9, 1946, she married Lloyd L. Hart, who died in 1999.
A lifetime area resident, she formerly worked at Wirk Garment Co. and Sorg Paper Products, Ligonier.
Surviving is a sister, Retha (and spouse Stanley) Barrick, Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastor Vince Wilczynski officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
