Betty L. Starbuck Clark, 86, of Warsaw, passed away at 4:42 p.m.  Dec. 29, 2012, in Gardens at Lake City, Warsaw.
She was born March 4, 1926, in Kosciusko County, to Merle and Louise Ulsberger Keplinger. On Oct. 27, 1945, she married Jimmie J. Starbuck, who died Aug. 16, 1984.  On Nov. 21, 1987, she married Jack M. Clark, who died Sep. 8, 2005.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she was a homemaker most of her life. She loved sharing her flag bookmarks she made with the Warsaw Public Library, Lincoln School, Presbyterian Pre-School, Lake City Bank, Warsaw Police and Fire Departments and the Beauty Shop.
She loved her daughters and grandchildren and most of all the great-great grandchildren. She loved watching them play and laugh and was always impressed with how smart they were at such a young age.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy (and spouse Tom) Hale, Clayton, and Deb Starbuck, Warsaw; a granddaughter, Angie Shafer; two great-grandchildren, Melissa Thompson and Derek Shafer; three great-great grandchildren, Xander, Camden and Jocelynn; and two sisters, Joan Castle, Pierceton, and Jeanette (and spouse Leroy) Eytcheson, Peotone, Ill. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Norma Johnson, Geraldine Peterson, Helen Pollock and Mildred Keplinger; four brothers, Melvin, Irvin, Richard and Fred Keplinger; and a grandson, Tim Heaton.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Chaplain Tom Everett officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
