ROCHESTER – Betty L. Harper, 82, of Rochester, died at 11:42 p.m. Jan. 26, 2013, in St Vincent’s Heart Care Center, Indianapolis.
She was born to Lester and Chloe Floyd. On March 28, 1953, in Akron, she married Arthur L. “Art” Harper, who survives.
She graduated from Macy High School in 1950. She was a seamstress.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sharon (and spouse Kevin) Bockover, Twelve Mile; a son, Donald Harper, Rochester; three sisters: Della Wilson, South Bend; Ruth (and spouse Brice) Carrithers, Peru; and Aretha Mills, Rochester; a brother, David (and spouse Kathy) Floyd,   Nyona Lake; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Rochester. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
