NAPPANEE – Betty L. Firestone, 85, of Goshen, and formerly of Nappanee, died at 8:37 p.m. Nov. 23, 2012, in IU Goshen Health. She was born June 3, 1927, in Etna Green, to Dallas and Surelda Huffman Hartzell. On Dec. 21, 1946, she married Robert L. Richmond, who died Aug. 2, 1955. In Dec. 19, 1959, she married Archie L. Wilson, who died Nov. 29, 1986. She then married Robert E. Firestone July 7, 1988, who died May 7, 2002. She graduated from Etna Green High School in 1945. Surviving are a daughter, Linda (and spouse Michael) Carter, Beech Grove; sons: Roger Richmond, Goshen; Bill Wilson, Elkhart; James (and spouse Patricia) Wilson, Wakarusa; and Thomas (and spouse Erin) Wilson, Statesboro, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two sons. Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Mark Reige officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
