Betty Jane Fitton, 89, Warsaw, passed away Jan. 3, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born March 8, 1924, in Syracuse, to John Floyd Gordy and Carrie Carene Smith Gordy. On Oct. 26, 1946, in Syracuse, she married Robert Lee Fitton, who preceded her in death July 13, 2010. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Boschain officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
