BOURBON – Betty J. Davis, 89, of Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Milford, and formerly of Etna Green, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 13, 2012. She was born May 7, 1923, in Kosciusko County, to Raymond and Gayle Yazel Baker. In 1942, she married Claude “Red” Davis, who died Feb. 14, 2000. As a homemaker, she enjoyed being a member of the ONO Club, Etna Green, and she was a faithful member of Etna Green Church of Christ. She graduated from Etna Green High School in 1948. Surviving are a son, Doug (and spouse Connie) Davis, Ligonier; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Raymond Baker, Etna Green, and Donald (and spouse Betty) Baker, Bremen. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Jayne Gault; a son, Tony Davis; and a brother, Dick Baker. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Etna Green Church of Christ, 206 W. Broadway, with Pastor Jordan Ickes officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery. Calling is one hour prior to the service Saturday at the chuch.
