Betty J. Bolles Shaw

KNOX – Betty J. Bolles Shaw, 96, Knox, and formerly

of Warsaw, passed away July 2, 2015, at Golden Living

Center, Knox.

She was born May 14, 1919, in Fort Wayne, to Asa

and Marie Blue Ross. In 1939, in Valparaiso, she married

Fred J. Bolles, who preceeded her in death in 1980. In

1996, in Ohio, she married Norman Shaw, who preceeded

her in death in 2001.

She was a former employee of Montgomery Wards and

a former member of many civic organizations.

Surviving are: two sons, Theodore Bolles, Lowre City,

Ohio, and Fred Bolles Jr., Knox; many grandchildren,

great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and one

sister, Phyllis Myers, Columbia City. She also was preceded

in death by her parents and a daughter, Ferry.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. CST Monday at

the Ridgelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gary.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. CST Sunday at Rannells

Funeral Home Hamlet Chapel, 102 W. Davis St., Hamlet.
