Betty Holcomb, 89, passed away at 1:26 a.m. Dec. 18, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born July 18, 1925, in Rochester, N.Y., to Fredrick and Helen Becker Currier. She was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons, Michael (and spouse Joyce) Hance, Marion, N.Y., and Dean (and spouse Dawn) Hance, Warsaw; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald J. Currier, who died July 31, 2010; and John Mayer, who died Nov. 5, 2014. No services are planned at this time.
