Betty F. Fisher, 73, Pierceton, died at 12:53 p.m. Sept. 18, 2014, at her residence. She was born June 12, 1941, in Ellison, Ky., to William Rutherford and Lula Mae McCane Rutherford. On June 2, 1960, in Pierceton, she married Larry Fisher, who survives in Pierceton. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching birds and flower gardening. Also surviving are a son, Kenneth Fisher, Pierceton; a brother, James H. (and spouse Barbara) Rutherford, Warsaw; two sisters, Anna Louise (and spouse Edward) Kline, North Manchester, and Mary Ann Wood, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her father, who died in 1946; her mother, who died Nov. 3, 1992; three brothers, William, Walter H. and John H. Rutherford; and a sister, Etha Mae Hall. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ulrey Cemetery, Silver Lake. with Pastor Gary Paxton, Church of Jesus Christ, Warsaw, officiating. Burial will be in Ulrey Cemetery, Silver Lake.
