Betty E. FotterBetty E. Fotter, age 76, of Atwood —faithful wife, loving mother and child of God — passed away on Feb. 25, 2022, in her home in the care of her husband, Bruce.

Betty was born to Harold and Marjorie Neal Rhodes on Sept. 13, 1945, in Warsaw. She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Etna Green High School. She was a member of the United Brethren Church and was baptized in 1958. Betty married Bruce Fotter on Oct. 13, 1979. Her career as an LPN took her to Bremen Hospital, Old Murphy Hospital and Grace Village. She loved reading her Bible, singing hymns and being with her children and grandchildren as often as she could. She enjoyed gardening, taking walks, praying, helping others and sewing which included sewing her wedding gown.

Betty will be missed by her husband, Bruce, of Atwood; her daughter, Lydia Ann (Bart) Sipes, of Shakopee, Minn.; her son, Aaron (Lynda) Fotter, of Washington, Maine; her grandchildren: Sebastian, Ezekiel, Alizée, Boaz, Alexander, Kylie, Paityn, Wyatt; her sisters: Nancy Cook, of Etna Green; Linda (Neal) Young, of Bourbon; her brother, Harold (Jeannie) Rhodes Jr., of Atwood; her brother-in-law, Peter (Tammy) Fotter, of Rome, Maine; her sister-in-law, Rose Marie Fotter, of Belgrade Great Lakes, Maine; and her cousin, Norma Rhodes, of Etna Green.

She is preceded in death by her parents
