Betty Ann Taylor, 72, Warsaw, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Feb. 12, 2014, at her residence. She was born May 16, 1941 in Lebanon to M. Raymond Williams and Beatrice E. Bland Williams. On Dec. 10, 1960, she married to Paul R. Taylor, who preceded her in death March 18, 2011. She was a 1959 graduate of Claypool High School and a 1960 graduate of Indiana Business College. She worked as a legal secretary in Indianapolis. In 1980 she was the co-founder of Coal Creek Canyon Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary; from 1979-1998 she was the administrative assistant at the University of Colorado in Boulder; from 1998-2001 she worked as the secretary for the director of the education program at Manchester College, North Manchester. She attended Warsaw Community Church since 2005, and along with her husband, Paul, was a facilitator there for the WCC Cancer Support Group since 2007. Surviving are her two sons, David W. (and spouse Linda) Taylor, Grand Junction, Colo., and Karl R. (and spouse Cheri) Taylor, Denver, Colo.; a grandson, Anthony J. Taylor, Colorado Springs; and two granddaughters, Anastasia M. and Natasha A. Taylor, both of Denver. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating.
