Betrayal

Not since the Civil War has one party gone to such great lengths to oppose the desires of the majority of the country as the Democrats are doing today. They stand in opposition to 80% of Americans on issues like illegal immigration, banning men from women’s sports, the removal of criminal illegal immigrants, and just recently the Democrats opposition to the “Save Act,” which is federal legislation requiring all voters to show proof of citizenship to register to vote and to present a photo ID when they vote.
In the fall of 2025, the Democrats shut down the government opposing a clean CR (Continuing Resolution) to temporarily fund the government until they completed the final 3 of 12 appropriation bills, an effort by Speaker Johnson to return Congress back to “regular order.” The CR was to fund the government for 3 more months under the present funding levels, something that the Democrats voted for 13 times prior under the Biden administration, but refused to vote for Speaker Johnson’s temporary extension. The reason the Democrats opposed this CR was they wanted funding for the “super subsidies” for Obamacare recipients. This seemed very odd as it was Democrats under the Biden administration that voted in the subsidies during Covid, but also voted that they would “sunset” or end on Dec. 31, 2025! The irrational opposition, which left many of our most critical government employees without pay for a record of 43 days, made it clear that the Democrat Party had fallen under control of some outside entity.
Today the Democrats, once again, hold the country hostage by refusing to complete the budget process for DHS (Department of Homeland Security) in the midst, no less, of the U.S. military being in armed conflict with Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terror. Agencies like TSA, CBP, I.C.E., Secret Service and the Coast Guard once again having the work without pay. All of it because the Democrats want reforms to the protocols and procedures of I.C.E., which would render the agency helpless to perform their mission as our country’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The goal of the Democrats is to protect the 12+ million illegal immigrants they allowed into our country from deportation. They’ve placed the illegal immigrants above the protection and the needs of the American people in order to replace their eroded voter base, and in so doing have betrayed their oath of office and their promise to uphold the Constitution! I speculate that the Democrat Party has been captured by a growing Marxist ideology in America. This is something to remember when you exercise one of the greatest privileges of an American citizen ... the right to vote.
