NORTH MANCHESTER - Bethel Dingess, 54, of Servia, died at 7:35 a.m. Jan. 24, 2008, in her residence.
She was born July 30, 1953, in Warsaw, to Dewey Sr. and Jeannette Whitaker Shepherd. On Feb. 3, 1973, she married Wallace Dingess, who survives.
She was a homemaker and worked at Invensey Controls, North Manchester, for 33 years.
Also surviving are a son, Wallace Lee (and spouse Melody) Dingess, Servia; a daughter, Kristy (and spouse Philip) Depoy, Peru; six brothers: Dewey Shepherd Jr., Joseph Shepherd, Herbert Shepherd and Klink Shepherd, all of North Manchester; Jake Shepherd, Servia; and Steve Shepherd, Howard, N.C.; six sisters: Debbie (and spouse Floyd) Swindle, Baldwin, Miss.; Katie Shepherd, Claypool; Sadie Shepherd, Silver Lake; Bobbie (and spouse Evelene) Harding, Lutz, Fla.; Peggy (and spouse Raymond) Myers, Lake Wales, Fla.; and Brenda Layne, Georgia; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Ward Etsie Allen officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
