Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Best Western Plus, 3825 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, Friday. Attending the event (L to R) are Scott Wiley, Chamber member relations manager; Best Western employes Janeth Sosa, Norma Sanchez, Art Uro, Nicol Mahy and Celinda Oreta; Bill Landrigan, neighboring businessman; Suneil Verma, regional director of operations for Best Western; Ash Patel, franchisee for Best Western; Freemont Hotel employees Bob and Chelsea Bates; Chamber ambassadors Tricia Gall and Alyssa Lowe; Scott Allsion, W.R. Hall Insurance; Brandon Stewart, Edward Jones; and Brooke Hamstra, Cardinal Services. Verma said the hotel has been a Best Western since December with 67 rooms. The difference between a regular Best Western and a Plus is the Plus hotels offer breakfast.
