On Dec. 5, Bertsch Services celebrated its annual Christmas Party and 60 years of business with the corporate office in Warsaw. Also honored that night were two employees, Phyllis Layne and Jim Moore.
Layne began her employment at Bertsch in 1973 as a hostess at a local industry. She progressed in her employment to a route driver in 1981, lead hostess in 1983, hostess supervisor in 1985, operations supervisor in 1989 and since 1993 is currently corporate trainer in Warsaw. Phyllis has worked for 35 years at Bertsch.
Moore began his career at Bertsch in 1968 as a route driver. Since 2005 he is currently a location attendant at a local industry. Moore has worked at Bertsch 40 years.
Both Layne and Moore were given watches to acknowledge their dedicated years of service to Bertsch.
