Bertha M. Taylor, 84, died at 5:30 p.m. March 18, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Sept. 9, 1926, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Richard H. and Bessie Ewing Davis. On June 30, 1948, in Paris, Ky., she married Clarence J. Taylor, who died May 25, 2000.
Moving to the Warsaw-Claypool area from Missouri in 1969, she was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was a wonderful mother.
Surviving are a son, Steven Taylor (and fiancée Michelle Blocker), Claypool; a sister, Lillie D. Carpenter, Galion, Ohio; and four sisters-in-law: Eleanor Cross, Marengo, Ohio; Naomi Taylor, Galion, Ohio; Helen Eichler, Simpsonville, Ky.; and Mary Rines, Grey, Tenn. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie and Harry Davis, and three sisters, Lela Reamy, Ida Carpenter and Ruth Davis.
No services or calling are planned. Burial will be at a later date.
