ROCHESTER – Berta Bowers, 89, Rochester, died at 4 p.m. Oct. 23, 2016, at Life Care Center of Rochester. On Jan. 1, 1927, she was born in Munich, Maistrasse, to Kreszenz and Johann Ortner Vogl. On June 30, 1955, in Fursten Feldbruck, Germany, she married George F. Bowers, who died March 26, 1972. A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
