SYRACUSE – Bernice Fisher, 93, of Milford, passed away on Feb. 14, 2019, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Syracuse.
She was born on Aug. 3, 1925, in Sidney, to Artie and Bertha Beigh Montel.
She was a homemaker, and was also formerly employed by Syracuse Rubber. She formerly attended the Milford United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Maurer of Plymouth and Becky Mock of Syracuse; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Yoder of Goshen and Barbara (Gene) Rarick of New Paris.
She was preceded by a daughter, Janice Fisher; a grandson, Sean Mock; and a brother, Earl Montel.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p. m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jason Rohde officiating. Burial will follow at the South Whitley Cemetery.
