MILFORD — Ben Kaiser Jr., 87, Milford, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, at his home.
He was born April 9, 1931, in Milford, to Ben and Marie Von Bergen Kaiser.
He was a lifetime Milford area resident and graduated in 1949 from Milford High School. He was married on Feb. 17, 1951, in Milford, to Viola M. Stutzman, who survives.
He retired from Chore-Time Brock, Milford; was formerly a farmer; and worked at Crop Fertility Specialists, Milford, for many years.
He was a member of Wawasee Community Bible Church, Milford, and was on a bowling league in Syracuse.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Kaiser, Milford; three daughters: Kay (Larry) Kammerer, Leesburg; Pam Kaiser-Polk, Leesburg; and Julie (Dick) Doll, Milford; two sons, Larry Kaiser, Warsaw, and Jay (Tonda) Kaiser, Milford; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eleanor Beer and Harriet Hoerr; and two brothers, Robert and Harold Kaiser.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Wawasee Community Bible Church, 2035 E. 1300 N., Milford.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, in the church, with Pastor Kirk Barger officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery.
Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
